What Affects Pricing

What determines the final project investment?

The starting prices provide a useful initial guide, but the final investment depends on the work required to deliver the project properly. These are the six factors that most often affect Shopify project pricing.

Oritenga confirms the scope, deliverables and price before development begins.

01
Templates and scope

A focused update to one section requires less work than redesigning the homepage, product, collection, cart and supporting page templates.

Product and catalogue complexity

Product volume, variants, bundles, subscriptions, filters, custom options and collection structure can increase setup, development and testing requirements.

Project impact Simple → Advanced
04
Connected systems

Apps and integrations

Subscriptions, reviews, email marketing, tracking, customer accounts and external systems may require configuration, styling, data setup or custom integration work.

Pricing FAQ

Clear answers before you commit to a Shopify project

Understand how Oritenga confirms pricing, structures payments and handles project changes before you decide on the most appropriate next step.

01 Are these prices fixed?

The $199 Store Review is a fixed-price service with a defined scope.

Prices shown for improvements, landing pages, store redesigns, new stores and ongoing support are starting points. The final investment is confirmed after Oritenga reviews the required templates, functionality, content, integrations and delivery priorities.

The final price and deliverables are confirmed before project work begins.

02 Can Oritenga work within a smaller budget?

Possibly. When the available budget does not support the complete requested scope, Oritenga may recommend a more focused first phase, a smaller group of high-priority improvements or the $199 Store Review.

The goal is to reduce or phase the scope responsibly rather than promise a full project that cannot be delivered properly within the available budget.

03 Do I need to pay the full project amount upfront?

Not usually for larger projects. Payment can be divided according to the approved project milestones and delivery schedule.

A starting payment may be required to reserve capacity and begin the first stage. The remaining payments and their related deliverables are clearly defined in the proposal before work begins.

01 Project start

Capacity reserved

02 Milestone review

Deliverables presented

03 Next stage

Approved work continues

04 Are Shopify themes and apps included?

Oritenga’s project fee covers the design, development, configuration and delivery services defined in the proposal. Shopify subscriptions, paid theme licences and third-party app fees are normally billed separately by their providers.

When appropriate, Oritenga may recommend a free Shopify theme combined with custom Liquid development to reduce external costs while maintaining a tailored storefront experience.

Any expected theme, app or external software cost is identified before it is purchased.

05 Can the project be divided into milestones?

Yes. Larger Shopify projects are normally easier to manage when they are divided into clearly defined stages.

01

Discovery and project direction

02

UX and visual design

03

Shopify development

04

Content and integrations

05

Testing, approval and launch

The exact milestone structure depends on the project scope. Each milestone defines its deliverables, review point and related payment.

06 What happens when the scope changes?

Small clarifications that remain within the agreed deliverables can usually be handled as part of the existing project.

When a request adds new templates, functionality, integrations, content work or deliverables beyond the confirmed scope, Oritenga will explain the impact before proceeding.
